Review by Neil A. Coddington for PowerMate PB-99 One AAA Battery Operated In Ear Bluetooth Cell Phone Headset
Rating:
Simple to operate, but noisy and distorted to both sender and receiver. The noise is worse when indoors (not unexpected), but also is problematic when operated outddors with no transmission barriers around.
The noise is something like radio static, which muffles voice communications.
Very inexpensive pricing by Amazon.com, so less than satisfactory performance is no surprise.

The only thing I can say good about this product is its price and the fact that it takes a AAA battery. The quality is lousy, the reconnect to my phone doesn’t work when you turn it on (the first Bluetooth device I have had that problem with) and the thing just broke after a while.
You get what you pay for with this one.
Thanks!
Excellent video 5/5
try enableing the UPnP on the ps3 and the router
Also you might wan to check the sound settings on the ps3 to make sure the mic is showing up and it is being used.
you also might want to try it on nother system or borrow someones to make sure it isn’t something else
go to accesory settings then go to audio device settings make sure it has the name of your earpiece on it if it says none go to output and scroll till it has your bluetooth name on it
hope this helps
wats your psn id??
ps..that guy who said xbox own should know xbox is for LITTLE GIRLS
The reason you can’t hear anyone from the earpiece is because you have the Output Device as System Default Device, which means the sound comes from your TV instead of the headset.
You can adjust your headset settings in Device Settings (XMB > Settings > Accessory Settings > Audio Device Settings).
Here is the support page for the Official Bluetooth Headset: http://playstation.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/playstation.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1226&p_sid=bBuKCKLj&p_lva=1216&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MTYsMTYmcF9wcm9kcz0mcF9jYXRzPSZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9Ymx1ZXRvb3RoIGhlYWRzZXQ%2A&p_li=
The support page will get you up and working. Since you haven’t been able to get two headsets to work, I think you may be doing something wrong.
Also, when you go to the Device Settings, you can adjust the volume. If you can hear yourself when changing the volume level, then others will be able to hear you as well. If you can’t hear yourself, then you are doing something wrong, or the Mute button is on.
First you actually need to see for yourself if its paired.
1. Go to settings on your ps3
2. then go to manage blue tooth devices, if the little blue light is on beside your headset name that means its paired and connected
3. To test it out and see if people can hear you go to audio device settings
Thats all i can really tell u 2 do
Are you sure it is connected to the PS3 and that there’s a blue light on the Accessory Settings for Manage Bluetooths options? You have to connect that everytime.
