It will not pair with the same dongle on a different PC. The MS Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 will. I forgot to show off it’s nifty laser pointer. XD The adapter is an AnyCom BT2.1 adapter with the latest Broadcom Widcomm drivers/software and Bluetooth stack. Update: Right after this I tried pairing it with a different PC in case it was just confused by this adapter having the same MAC as one that it was currently paired with. Obviously, it didn’t trip up the Microsoft mouse, so it was just a hunch, but it seems to have been correct. After days of messing with it all I needed to do was pair it with something else to wipe the old pairing info and then pair it with my old adapter in the new PC one more time. Basically, the mouse will not work with the same adapter in two different PCs because they both think that they are still paired even though only one OS is aware. The Microsoft Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 doesn’t have this problem while the Razer Orochi does. This only causes a problem when you move the mouse and Bluetooth adapter to a new PC, so you’d never see the issue if only using it with internal BT. The solution was to pair it with ANOTHER Bluetooth adapter and then pair it with the original one in the new PC. I used my sister’s notebook with a Kensington BT 2.0 dongle and Toshiba BT stack.
